GOODLAND, Kansas -- Elvera V. (Richers) Neitzel, 84, died Friday (Feb. 8, 2013), at the Good Samaritan Society in Goodland, Kansas.

She was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Cheyenne County, Kansas.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Neitzel Jr., in 1993.

Survivors include a son, Gary Neitzel of Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Glenda Carter of Atchison, Kansas; a brother, Elmer Richers of Wray, Colorado; and one grandchild.

Services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas. Burial will follow at the St. Francis Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 7 p.m., CST, at the funeral home.

Memorials are being accepted.
