ST. FRANCIS, Kansas -- Gayle B. "Tunney" Loker, 87, of McDonald, Kansas, died Monday (Jan. 28, 2013), at his residence.

He was born March 29, 1925, in Rawlins County, Kansas. He was a farmer.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Leila (Torkelson) Loker in 2006.

Survivors include sons, Gary and wife, Penny Loker, J.B. and wife, Brenda Loker, Lester and wife, Tish Loker, all of McDonald and Brad and wife, Tammy Loker of Parks, Nebraska; daughter, Lila and husband, Dennis Howard of McDonald, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.

Services are Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, 10 a.m,. at St. John Lutheran Church in Bird City, Kansas. Burial is at Grace Cemetery in McDonald, Kansas.

Visitation is Friday, 11 a.m., to 7 p.m. at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas.

Memorials can be given to the church or to the McDonald Lions Club.
