BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Fern Cross,94, long-time resident of the Benkelman area, died Thursday (Jan. 17, 2013), at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman.

Survivors include nieces, Letitia King and husband, Dale, of Yuma, Colorado and Marciea Weaver of Goodland, Kansas and nephew, Lynn Spears and wife, Karen, of Cedar Edge, Colorado.

Funeral services are Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, 11 a.m. (MT) at the Zion Lutheran Church of Benkelman with the Rev. George Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, from 3-6 p.m. at Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
