OBERLIN, Kansas -- Ethel W. Nemeth, 86, died Dec. 25, 2012, at Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin.

She was born March 13, 1926, in Dresden, Kansas, to Chris and Mabel (Litton) Ehler. She was raised on a farm near Dresden. She graduated from Dresden High School in 1954 and attended business school in Denver, Colorado.

She married Joe Nemeth. She worked as a secretary for an optometry office in Lakewood, Colorado.

She was a member of Lutheran church in Lakewood, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Mabel Ehler; husband, Joe Nemeth and brothers, Don and Carrol Ehler.

Survivors include cousins, Helen Brooks, Sharon Black, and Betty Heisel, all of Oberlin, and Vicky and Vivian Heisel, both of Brush, Colorado,

A memorial services will be Thursday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Matt Woodard officiating.

Interment is at the Dresden Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be given in her name.
