MCDONALD, Kansas -- Wilford Eldon Martin, 84, died Sunday (Jan. 13, 2013), at the Good Samaritan Society in St. Francis, Kansas.

He was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Cheyenne County, Kansas.

He was a city manager and a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Prickett) in 1997 and son, Mike Martin in 1996.

Survivors include son, Matt Martin of St. Francis and daughter, Melissa Dinning of Colby, Kansas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,

Memorial services are Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas. Inurment is at Grace Cemetery in McDonald, Kansas.

No visitation, cremation was chosen.

Memorials may be given to the American Legion Post No. 229 or the McDonald Fire Department.
