FORT COLLINS, Colorado -- Mary Ellen Pinkerton, 85, died Friday (Dec.21, 2012), in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Survivors include son, Cappy Pinkerton and wife, Sue, of Blair, Nebraska, James Pinkerton of Greeley, Colorado; daughter, Shelly Swanson and husband, Chris, of Fort Collins, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Thursday, 3 p.m. (MT) at the Forch Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sheila Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman, Nebraska.

Visitation is Thursday, 1 p.m. (MT) until service time at the Forch Funeral Chapel.

Memorials have been established to the Johnson Elementary School in Ft. Collins, CO, 4101 Seneca Street, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526.
