It's beginning to look a lot like ... well, you know
I've been listening to a lot of Christmas music this month, trying to get in the spirit, ya know. However, this week, I decided to change up the words a little to one of my favorite carols. Sing along so you catch my drift and use your best Bing Crosby voice:
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Everywhere I go.
Take a look at the parking lot, can't find a stinkin' spot
Cause all the out-of-towners have arrived.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Stress on every face
But the ugliest sight to see is the lady fighting me
For the last free space.
A pair of sparkly boots and a bundle of loot
Is the wish of my 12 year old girl;
Plane that will fly and a laptop, oh my
Will make my 10 year old twirl;
And my 5 year old can hardly wait for the doll that won't appear.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Everywhere I go;
There's a list of my things to do, to be done in a day or two,
How I'll get it done, I'll never know.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
Family's on their way,
So I better go clean my house and wrap up mom's new blouse,
All for Christmas Day!
Merry Christmas!
