ELWOOD, Nebraska -- Mark Charles Huxoll, 51, of Elwood, died Monday (Nov. 5, 2012), in Elwood.

He was born July 6, 1961, at Cambridge, Nebraska, to Charles H. and Beverly A. (Kennedy) Huxoll.

He was raised south of Holbrook, Nebraska. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1980. He attended Western Nebraska Community College in Sidney, Nebraska, studying welding. He moved back to Holbrook and worked in Cambridge. He also worked for Nelson Farms in Long Island, Kansas, and Stromsberger Farms in Champion, Nebraska.

He was married in 1983. He worked for Furnas County Farms, now The Maschhoffs, for 20 years. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cambridge.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Huxoll of Elwood; parents, Charles and Beverly Huxoll of Holbrook; brother, Shane and wife, Cyndi Huxoll of Lexington, Nebraska; sisters, Theresa and husband, Robert Koeneke of Lincoln, Nebraska, Tracy Marshall of Lincoln and Jill and husband, Josh Hill of McCook, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Cambridge with the Rev. David Feddern officiating. Burial will be at the St. Matthews Cemetery in Arapahoe.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe.
