ALAMOGORDO, New Mexico -- Raymond L. Brooks, 79, died in Alamogordo on Aug. 4, 2012.

He was born in McCook, Nebraska, on Oct. 16, 1932, to Cletus and Ruth Brooks.

He graduated from McCook High School in McCook, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He was a benefits manager at Texas Instruments.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry.

Survivors include his wife, Lyn, of Alamogordo and five children.

Memorial sevices were at Grace Methodist Church in Alamogordo. Gravesides services were at McKinney, Texas.
