OBERLIN, Kansas --Janeil Jensen, 68, of Oberlin, died Thursday (Oct. 4, 2012), at the Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.

She was born May 23, 1944, to Neil and Mildred (Miller) Nicodemus at Oberlin.

She was raised in Oberlin and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1962.

She married Larry Ayers in 1963 in Oberlin and Michael Jensen Nov. 8, 1974, in Oberlin.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was a cook at the grade school, a beautician and a representative for Jim's Formal Wear.

She was preceded in death by father, Neil Nicodemus and stepfather, Eugene E. Holdmdahl.

She is survived by children, Michael Ayers of Lansing, Kansas, Sherri Ayers of Gardner, Kansas and Lori Ayers of Kearney, Nebraska; mother, Mildred Holmdahl of Oberlin; sisters, Jean Hengst of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Janet (Sherrill) Vermillion of El Dorado, Kansas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services are Monday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., at United Methodist Church in Oberlin with the Revs. Tom Smith and Nancy Profitt officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitiation is Sunday from 1-8 p.m. and Monday from 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home and after 10:30 a.m. at the church. Visit www.paulsfh.com to leave condolences for the family
