LAKEWOOD, Colorado -- Glen Fredric "Fred" Wood, 74, died Thursday (Aug. 9, 2012), at his home in Lakewood.

He was born Aug. 15, 1937, in Imperial, Nebraska to Glen and Marie (Deyle) Wood and grew up north of Benkelman.

Funeral services are Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Benkelman, Nebraska with the Rev. George Matthews officiating. Military graveside services will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Benkelman.

Baalmann Mortuary in Colby, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
