Emeritus at Willow Ridge will host event to benefit Alzheimer's Association

McCOOK,Nebraska -- Who doesn't love pie? Even more, who doesn't love throwing pies? Well lucky for you, Emeritus at Willow Ridge will be hosting its first annual pie throwing event, "Just Desserts for Managers." The event will give Willow Ridge residents and the general public the opportunity to purchase tickets to vote for which manager gets a pie thrown at them. The residents will be the pie throwers, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to purchase tickets and attend the event. Managers of Emeritus at Willow Ridge that will be participating include: Executive Director Linda Dixon, Business Office Director Diane Trew, Life Enrichment Director Mindy Schmitz, Resident Care Director Marty Svoboda, Maintenance Director Shad Dewey, Dining Services Director Judy McCune, Concierge Val Pollmann, and Housekeeping Supervisor Pam Shepherd.

Just Desserts for Managers will be held at Willow Ridge on Aug. 30 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Aug. 1 and can be purchased at the Willow Ridge office located at 1500 East 11t in McCook through Aug. 29th. You can also call 345-2100 for more information. Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Remember that each ticket equals one vote and the manager with the most votes get a pie thrown at them! Multiple pies will be thrown, so mark your calendars for Aug. 30, 2012!

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the National Alzheimer's Association.
