LAKEWOOD, Colorado -- Phillip Eugene Law, 75, died July 25, 2012 at Lakewood.

He was born Nov. 8, 1936, in Dresden, Kansas to Norman and Irene (Foster) Law. He attended Decatur Community High School, graduating in 1954, Fort Hays State University and the University of Colorado at Boulder.

He married Marjorie Jording on June 10, 1956. He was an instrumental and vocal music teacher.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Irene Law, and stepfather, Edwin Bartley.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Law of Boulder, Colorado; daughters, Michelle and husband, Rae Tackett, Cindy and husband, Rob Wood and Lori and husband, Peter Lowrance; brother, Larry Law and brother-in-law, Clayton Jording; four grandchildren, one step grandchild, two great grandchildren and two step-great-grand children.

Services are Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Kevin Schnakenberg officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 5, from 1-8 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home and Monday from 8 a.m. until time of service at the church.
