NORTON,Kansas -- Patty A. Peterson, 68, of Norton, died Saturday (July 14, 2012) at the Norton County Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1944 to Dolliver and Rosie Zinke in Audobon, Iowa. She attended the schools and graduated in 1962. She married Robeil A. Peterson Feb. 8, 1964 in Audubon. They made their home in Davenport, Iowa until 1966, when they moved to Atwood, Kansas. They moved to Norton in 1972, where her husband was a chiropractor and she was the office manager of the practice.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Audubon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. R.A. "Buzz"' Peterson, of Norton; sons, Bobby, and wife, Hazel Peterson of Norton and Douglas Peterson of Overland Park, Kansas; three brothers and their wives, Don and Ada Zinke of Des Moines, Iowa, Mike and Kathy Zinke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gary and Cindy Zinke of Atlantic, Iowa; sister, Levonne "Tiny" and husband, Charles McCabe, Algona Iowa; four grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service was Wednesday, July 18 at First Church of God in Norton with interment at Norton Cemetery.
