WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Jerry Don Tucker, 76, of Wichita Falls, died Monday (July 2, 2012) at his residence.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1936, in Durant, Oklahoma, to the late J. B. Tucker and Mable Fortenberry Tucker. On May 28, 1955, he married Lillian Weber in Kilgore, Texas. He was a family service counselor for Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home and Crestview Memorial Park and served as a minister of the Gospel. He was a Charter Member of Heritage Church in Wichita Falls.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, J.B. Tucker, Jr. and wife Tene, and Roy Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Tucker of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Cyndi Spicer and husband, David of Georgetown, Indiana, Debbie Taylor and Sandy Waterman of Dallas; Lisa Davis and husband, Steve of Petrolia; brother, Ronald Tucker and wife, Becky of Sandy, Utah; sister-in-law, Lynn Tucker of Rockwall, Texas; seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Bernard and Bob Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 7 -- 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
