LONGMONT, COLORADO, Marianne Stephens, 70, formerly of McCook, Nebraska, died June 23, 2012, in Longmont, Colorado after a brief struggle with cancer.

She was born August 31, 1941, in Hastings, Nebraska and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Frasier.

She is survived by a son, Brian Stephens of Loveland, Colorado; a daughter, Sona and husband, Peter Heguy of Flagstaff, Arizona; a sister, Sandra and husband, Gerald Patterson of Hayes Center, Nebraska; two brothers, Ken Frasier of Kearney, Nebraska and Bill Frasier of McCook; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She arranged for all her final needs, making certain all things would be private.
