MRNRD adopts water rules
McCOOK, Nebraska -- The Middle Republican Natural Resources District board of directors adopted the district's "Ground Water Management Area Rules and Regulations" at their monthly meeting in McCook, Nebraska, Tuesday evening.
The vote was 7-4 for approval of Joe Anderjaska's motion; James Uerling, Steve Cappel, Buck Haag and Bill Hoyt cast the dissenting votes.
Executive director Dan Smith said the rules and regulations will become effective Aug. 1, 2012.
