TUCSON, Arizona -- Douglas L. Miller, 51, died Wednesday (May 16, 2012), in Tucson, Arizona.

He was born Nov. 11, 1960, at St. Catherine's Hospital in McCook, Nebraska, the only son of Roger T. and Wanda M. (Wright) Miller, who lived in the Marion community.

Doug began elementary school in Marion, Nebraska, and later attended Beaver Valley Schools, located in Danbury and Lebanon, where he graduated in 1979. For several years, he worked for area farmers and ranchers. Since 1995, he lived in Tucson where he was employed at a wholesale automotive supply warehouse and worked in inventory control.

Survivors include his parents, and two sisters, Karen and husband, Russ Gillenwater of Round Rock, Texas and Susan of Tacoma Park, Maryland; aunts, uncles, and cousins in Oklahoma and Oregon, plus his friends in Tucson.

The family has honored his wish for cremation, and a memorial graveside service with inumment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be given in his memory to the DanburyMarion Cemetery Association or the Salvation Army.
