OMAHA, Nebraska -- Eileen Marie Wane, 84, died Tuesday (May 29, 2012), at Brookestone Village in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was born Feb. 26, 1928 on a farm in Indianola, Nebraska, to Thomas McConville and Elizabeth (Lillian) Colling McConville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; and two older brothers, LaMoine and Richard.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth and wife, Jody Wane, Thomas and wife, Carol Wane, Gary and wife, Diane Wane, Marcia and husband, Michael DeFreece and Kaye and husband, Robert Passmore; sisters, Catherine, Cecilia, and Marilyn; brother, Robert; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 So. 86 St., Omaha. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha.

Memorials may be given to to Nebraska Diabetes Association or Nebraska Lung Association.
