OBERLIN, Kansas -- Chris "Coolly" Kuhlman, 43, died Monday (May 21, 2012), at the Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

He was born in Newton, Kansas, to Ervin and Florence (Lohman) Kuhlman. He was raised in Lenora, Kansas. He attended school at Lenora and Goodland Vo-Tech.He worked in scrap metal recycling.

He married Wendy Sue Farr on Dec. 28, 2008 in Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Kuhlman of Oberlin and brother-in-law, Joseph Nixon.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Kuhlman of Oberlin; sons, Jack Lee Farr, Antonio "Tony" Kuhlman and Dillon Kuhlman, all of Oberlin; father, Ervin Kuhlman of Oberlin; sisters, Marsha Nixon-Kuhlman of Smith Center, Kansas, Connie and husband, Keven Strutt of Hays, Kansas and Michelle Reichard of Lansing.

Services are Saturday, May 26, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Gee officiating.

Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m, and Saturday, from 8 a.m. until time of service, at Pauls Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given in his name.
