BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Patricia Ann DeWester, 82, a longtime resident of Benkelman, died Sunday (May 20, 2012), in Omaha, Nebraska.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald DeWester of Benkelman; son, Dick and wife, Julie DeWester of Benkelman; daughters, MaryJo and husband, Dean Howard of Palisade, Nebraska, Barbara Jean Blecha of Omaha, Nebraska, and Gay DeWester and husband, John Knape of Omaha; sister, Peg and husband, Bill Van Wormer of McCook, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Darleen Rodenbeck of Kansas City, Missouri, and Wynona Springer of Benkelman; aunt, Loretta Palmer of Benkelman; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass is 10 a.m.. (MT), Friday, May 25, 2012, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Benkelman with the Rev. Tom Wiedel officiating.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. (MT) Thursday, May 24, 2012, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Benkelman.

There will be no visitation, cremation was chosen.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
