EUSTIS Nebraska -- Heath Fletcher, 36, of Eustis, died March 26, 2012, at the Cozad Community Hospital.
Heath was born May 13, 1975, at McCook, Nebraska to Eugene "Gene" and Carol (Davis) Fletcher.
He graduated from Culbertson High School in 1993, and continued his education at North Platte Community College.
He married Yolanda J. Hanes in April of 1998. To this union two children were born, Cheyenne and Matthew.
He worked on the family farm south of Arapahoe. He continued working with farmers in Wauneta and Benkelman. He returned to McCook and worked at Valmont Industries.
On September 10, 2005, Heath married Lori Reiss, and the couple made their home at Eustis. Shortly after their marriage, he worked at Orthman Manufacturing in Lexington where he worked in welding. He then worked at Peavey elevator in Cozad.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene; paternal grandfather, Don Fletcher; and maternal grandparents, Wilbert, Sr. and Irene Davis.
Survivors include his children, Cheyenne and Matthew Fletcher of McCook; wife, Lori Fletcher of Eustis; step-sons, Tregg Reiss and Logan Purdy of Eustis; mother and step-father, Carol and Robin Runge of Culbertson; two brothers, Eric and wife, DeAnna Runge of Paxton, Alex Runge of Culbertson; two sisters, Naomi Fletcher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tina and husband, Mike Williams of Moore, Oklahoma; grandparents, Doris Fletcher of Cambridge, Howard and wife, Lila Runge of Culbertson; mother and father-in-law, Dale and wife, Bev Cochrane of Eustis; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services are Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Eustis with the Rev. Neil Kloppenborg officiating. Burial will be in the East Cemetery at Eustis.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church in Eustis.
