PLAINVILLE, Kansas -- Dorothy J. Lawver, 66, died Tuesday (March 6, 2012), in Ellis County, Kansas.

She was born Jan. 26, 1946, in McCook, Nebraska to Jesse and Jean (Lafferty) Hunt.

She married Don Lawver on Dec. 24, 1965.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don, on Oct. 15, 1994; father, Jesse Hunt and brother, Jim Hunt.

Survivors include her sons, Don Lawver and wife, Jacci of Olathe, Kansas, Marion Lawver and wife Veronica of Lenexa, Kansas and Dallas Lawver and wife Theresa of Kansas City, Kansas; mother, Jean Hunt of Plainville; brothers, Jerry and wife, Betty Hunt of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Jane and husband, Rod Rudman of Halstead, Kansas and Kay and husband, Dave of Newton, Kansas, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Redline Church of God. Interment was at Morland Township Cemetery in Graham County, Kansas.

Memorals may be given to the Dorothy Lawver memorial fund to be designated at a later time and sent to the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville,Kansas, 67663
