AMARILLO, Texas -- Lola Elnora Scott Campbell, 89, died Tuesday (March 6, 2012), in Amarillo.

She was born on June 5, 1922, in Hess township, incorporated settlement Ensign, Kansas. On Dec. 13, 1941, she married Melvin Lee Campbell and they had two children.

They made their home in McCook Nebraska, where Elnora retired as the manager of the F.W. Woolworth store. She has lived in Amarillo since 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001.

Survivors include her son, Melvin Campbell, Jr.; her daughter, Sandra Stalder and husband, John (Rick), of Canyon; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Calvary Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
