NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- Wilma Cora (Worley) White, 94, died Thursday (March 1, 2012), at Linden Court.
She was born on a farm in Frontier County, Nebraska March 24, 1917, to Roy and Evie (Fisher) Worley. She attended country school in Frontier County and went to high school in Stockville, Nebraska, graduating with the class of 1935.
On Jan.18, 1936, she married Kenneth White at Stockville. They farmed in Frontier County for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Kenneth; a brother, Vernon Worley; a sister, Velna Herndon; sisters-in-law, Shirley Lunkwitz and Arlene (Elmer) Talkington; a brother-in-law, Arthur Herndon; and three nephews.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Reverend Robert Wiest officiating. Burial will be Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte.
