Wilma C. Bobinmyer

OBERLIN, Kansas -- Wilma C. Bobinmyer, 89, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2012), at the Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.

She was born March 23, 1922, in Herndon, Kansas, to Michael J. and Carrie (Sattler) Kleidosty.

She lived on a farm near Herndon for 23 years, moved to Denver for 18 years, and returned to Herndon in 1987. She moved to the Cedar Living Center in 2008.

She married Douglas Bobinmyer on Jan. 23, 1945, in Herndon.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Christian Mother's Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas, on Dec. 3, 2000; sister, Helen Hallam; great grandson, Nicholas Hosaka and step-grandson, Brian Bobinmyer

She is survived by her son, Douglas E. Bobinmyer, Herndon; daughters, Carol Kompus, of Oberlin,Kansas and Patsy Marintzer of Idalia, Colorado; brother, Eugene Kleidosty of Herndon; sisters, Eileen and husband, Virgil Portschy of Herndon; Joyce and husband, Jim Rich of Arden, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Berland officiating. Interment is at St. Mary's Cemetery in Herndon.

Visitation is Thursday, from 8 a.m. until service time, at Pauls Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Wilma Bobinmyer Memorial Fund.
