ST. FRANCIS. Kansas -- Patricia "Pat" Jean Cook, 83, of St. Francis, Kansas, died Thursday (Feb. 23, 2012), at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

She was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband, Warren H. Cook of St. Francis; sons, Dr. Randy Cook of Hays, Kansas and Dr. Kelly Cook of Chandler, Arizona; daughter, Teresa Porter of St. Francis; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in St. Francis. Burial will be at the St. Francis Cemetery,

Friends may sign the book Friday at Knodel Funeral Home, 202 S.Benton from 1-5 p.m. The casket will remained closed.

Memorials may be given to the NW Kansas Hospice Care, United Methodist Church or First Christian Church, both of St. Francis.
