Luella (Rains) Reutzel

WESTMINSTER, Colorado -- Luella (Rains) Reutzel died Feb.9, 2012, in Westminster, Colorado.

She was born in Naponee, Nebraska, in 1923 and graduated from Stratton High School in 1941.

She married Paul Reutzel in 1945. They had four children, Paula, Kayleen, Jack and Kristi.

They moved to Arvada, Colorado, in 1959. Luella taught school in the Trenton and Stratton area, and was a homemaker and stay at home mother until she went to work for the Department of Labor, retiring in 1987.

Luella was proceeded in death by her parents-in-law, J.W. and Lena Reutzel, of Trenton; her husband, Paul, of Arvada,Colorado, her parents, Ralph and Margaret Rains, of Stratton, her brother, Roy Rains, of Stratton and her daughter, Paula Rosell, of Fountain Valley, California.

She had eight grandchildren, Eric and Ryan Hall, Sara and Michael Rosell, Adam and Abby Spencer, and Alec and Kate Reutzel.

She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
