Koda H. Reiman

STRATTON, Nebraska -- Koda H. Reiman, 83, died Sunday (Feb. 12, 2012). at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman, Nebraska.

She was born May 17, 1928, in Stratton, Nebraska the daughter of Herbert and Janet (Morris) Williamson. She grew up on a farm south of Stratton and attended Stratton High School completing the 10th grade.

On Nov. 7, 1945, Koda married Charles Kenneth Reiman in Stratton, Nebraska. They lived in Hitchcock and Dundy counties of Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth of 48 years; parents, Herbert and Jennie Williamson; and brothers, Roy and George Williamson.

Survivors include three children, Janet and husband, James Glover of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Herbert "Bill" Reiman and wife, Judy of Cumberland City, Tennessee and Gloria and husband, Wallace Gummere of Stratton; two sisters, Berniece and husband, Joe Fillmore of Escondito, California and Roseanna Edgett of Grand Prairie, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., CST at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratton with the Rev. Thomas Wiedel officiating. Burial will be at the Benkelman Cemetery at 1 p.m., CST.

A rosary will be recited Thursday, 7 p.m CST at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratton.

There is no public visitation.

Memorials will be used for needed medical equipment at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home.
