Playhouse to bring in ghost hunters
NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- Members of the Tri-City Research and Investigation of the Paranormal team will embark on the North Platte Community Playhouse on Jan. 21, to answer the age old question of whether or not spirits reside at the NPCP.
NPCP General Manager Scott Carlson was contacted by T.R.I.P. founder Nate Raterman, and asked if the Playhouse would allow them to conduct an investigation at our venue.
Carlson: "I have been asked by many people whether or not the Playhouse is haunted, and I honestly can't give them an answer. What better way to answer the question, than to have a group such as T.R.I.P come in and see what they can find. I can tell you that I performed my first show on the NPCP stage when I was a child, and now I spend a lot of time here as the GM as well as a performer/director, and I have never at any time felt uncomfortable or scared. While I have had some weird experiences, I can't say whether or not they occurred due to paranormal activity. If there are indeed spirits here, they must be happy with what we're doing, because they aren't causing any problems!"
References to the NPCP being haunted can be found on many websites by performing a search of the subject.
