HOISINGTON, Kansas -- Bonnie Lou Deitsch, 69, died Wednesday (Jan. 3, 2012) at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita,Kansas.
She was born Feb. 7, 1942 ,at Wilsonville, Nebraska to Earl and Evelyn (Martin) Kinne, the second of 11 children.
She married Lloyd Deitsch, Jr. April 7, 1980 at Beaver City, Nebraska.
Bonnie was a homemaker and CNA, working at various hospitals and nursing homes. And in the past, she worked as a child provider for the state of Nebraska.
She was a Hoisington, Kansas resident since 2003, coming from Great Bend.
She was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Great Bend, Kansas
She loved to quilt, specializing in baby blankets.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Deitsch Jr,; daughter, Elea Durr, of Hoisington; brothers and sisters, Peggy Sitzman, McCook, Nebraska, Edgar Kinne and his wife, Sandy, of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, Bryan Kinne and his wife, Lois, of Grand Island Nebraska, Lelia Kinne of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Verlie Young and husband, Bill, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Ginger Cousins and her husband, Si, of Kansas City, Kansas, Roger Kinne and his wife, Joyce, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Howard Kinne and his wife, Carla, of McCook, Ken Kinne and his wife, Amy, of Pella, Iowa.; Ricky Kinne and his wife, Lynne, of McCook; and grandaughter, Ashley Durr.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral service is Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, 1:30 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Great Bend, Kansas, with Rev. Pastor Terry Ruebush officiating. Interment is at the Hoisington Cemetery in Hoisington.
Visitation is 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington and from 12:30 p.m. until service time, Saturday, at the church.
