OBERLIN, Kansas -- Alan D. Addleman, 79, died Sunday (Jan. 1, 2012) at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

He was born March 31, 1932 in Oberlin to Theodore Bush and Neva (Russell Addleman.

He graduated from Decatur Community College High School and attended two years at the College of Emporia.

He served with the military.

He resided in Estes Park, Colorado until moving to Oberlin seven years ago. He was a member of the Estes Park American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his brother, Rusty and Sharon Addleman of Oberlin; sister, Ruth and Robert Ingold of Olathe, Kansas; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center.

Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
