BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Wallace Lee "Wally Underwood, 86, died Tueday (Dec. 27, 2011),at Dundy County Hospital.

He was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Cheyenne County, Kansas,

He was an implement dealer.

He is survived by his wife, LaVon (Bowers) Underwood of Bird City, Kansas; sons, Kim Underwood of Bird City and Jerry McCaslin of Liberty,Missouri; daughter, Tammy Zimbleman of Benkleman, sister, Shirley Smith of Hays, Kansas and four grandchlldren

A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Wesleyan Community Church. Inurment will be at the Bird City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the church or to Dundy County Hospital.

There is no visitation, cremation was chosen.

Knodel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
