BIRD CITY, Kansas -- Barbara Alice (Jones) Beougher, 75, died Tuesday (Dec. 13, 2011), at Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center, Kansas

She was born Oct. 1, 1936 in Cheyenne County, Kansas. She was a homemaker and teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Beougher of Bird City; son, Dr. Tim Beougher of Louisville, Kentucky; daughters, Beverly Schottler of Lyons, Kansas, Kathy Beougher of Clay Center and Amy Andrews of Leavenworth, Kansas; brother, Bob Jones of Bella Vista, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Methodist Chrch in Bird City. Burial will be at Bird City Cemetery.

Vistiation will be Friday, Dec. 16, from 1-7 p.m. at Knodel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the church, to the Antique Auto Thresher Assoc , the Presbyterian Manor or to the American Cancer Society.

Knodel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
