PARKS, Nebraska -- Life-long Dundy County resident Garry was born in Benkelman, Nebraska on March 13, 1942, to the late Bus and Lillian (Phifer) Krutsinger. He passed away Nov. 22, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. Since April, Garry had resided in Sunset Manor in Brush, Colorado.
Garry graduated from Parks High School in Parks in 1960. He entered the U.S. Army in 1961, serving with the 82nd Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After being honorably discharged in 1964, he returned to the family ranch at Parks.
Garry loved the ranch land and was an excellent steward of the land. He was honored by the NRD Master Conservationist Award for Southwest Nebraska in 2001.
Surviving Garry is his daughter, Stacy and son, Jake; sister Marilyn (Byron) Hust of Imperial, Nebraska; brother, Ron (Carol) Krutsinger of Norfolk, Nebraska; and sister, Judy Krutsinger of McCook, Nebraska, as well as Aunt Louise Krutsinger of Papillion Nebraska, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
