Oberlin,Kansas -- Ruby M. Shuler, 87, died Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2011), at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

She was born Oct. 8, 1924 to George and Elizabeth (Myers) Shuler in Decatur County, Kansas.

She lived on farm north of Selden in Decatur County and attended country school. She lived with her parents until moving to Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in 1996.

She is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 9 a.m. at the Oberlin Cemetery with Brother John Paulson. Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
