LOVELAND, Colorado --David Stewart Johnson, 54, of Loveland, Colorado, died Monday, (Nov. 14, 2011), from a work-related accident.

He was born and raised in the community of Wauneta, Nebraska.

David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Johnson of Loveland; son, Chase Johnson and wife, Jamie of York; son, Hans Johnson of Hayes Center; mother, Betty Johnson of McCook; sister, Jane Johnson of Palisade; brother, George Johnson and family of Overland Park, Kansas; sister, Julie Nelson and family of Kent, Washington, and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Crossroads Covenant Church in Loveland.
