Scott D. Everhart

CEDAREDGE, Colorado -- Scott Dean Everhart, 64, died Tuesday (Oct. 11, 2011), at his residence at Cedaredge, Colorado.

He was born May 20, 1947 to Wendall Dean and Betty Jane (Killfoil) Everhart in Lindsborg, Kansas. He spent his childhood in Lindsborg and graduated from Lindsborg High School. He later received his BA from Bethany College and then his MBA from the University of Nebraska.

He taught at McCook High School and at Clifton-Clyde High School.

After retiring from teaching, he became a real estate agent and raised llamas. He has been a resident of Cedaredge for the past 17 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Tori Everhart of Aurora, Colorado; his mother, Betty Everhart and brother, Shannon Everhart and wife, Joy, all of Lindsborg; aunt, Sara O'Mary of Denver, Colorado; niece, Shana Everhart; and nephew, David Everhart and friend, Allison McCloskey of Olathe, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life gathering was Oct. 15 at the Cedaredge Park.
