OBERLIN, Kansas --Martha L. Munson, 84, died Wednesday (Oct. 12, 2011), at Decatur County Hospital.

She was born to James J.E. and Elizabeth (Chaplesky) O'Toole on April 8, 1927 in Decatur County.

She graduated from Decatur County High School in 1945.

She married Myron "Mike" Munson on April 11, 1953, in Oberlin.

She belonged to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar Society and Cosmopolitan Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth OToole, husband, Myron, brothers, James Robert and Francis, and sisters, Dorothy, Patricia, Mary Elizabeth and Mary.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle and husband David Luttrell of Denver, Colorado; brothers Jack and wife Sybil O'Toole of Hiawatha Kansas and Larry and wife, Barbara O'Toole of Haven, Kansas.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Mark Berland officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 to 10 p.m at the funeral home both days

A memorial fund has been established at the Golden Age Center and Decatur County Museum.
