CENTENNIAL, Colorado -- Catherine "Kay" Marie (Lane) Hanes, 89, died Saturday (Oct. 8, 2011 ), at Porter Hospice in Centennial.
She was born on Aug. 1, 1922 in Omaha, Nebraska.
On April 8, 1956, she married Richard "Dean" Hanes in Cambridge, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years and her brother.
She is survived by daughters Carol and husband, David Sears of Elizabeth, Colorado, Sharon and husband, Ron Kramer of Kearney, Nebraska; sisters Evelyn Buttery and Joan Anaya; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
