COMMERCE, Oklahoma -- William Wesley "Bill" Leach, 85, formerly of Bird City, Kansas, died Saturday (Oct. 1, 2011) at Good Shepherd Hospice in Commerce.
He was born Aug. 24, 1926 in Cheyenne County, Kansas. He was a farmer/rancher.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, Vada (Beeson) Leach, in 2008.
Survivors include his spouse, Carolyn Leach, of Oklahoma; sons, Gary Leach of St. Francis, Kansas, Dexter Leach of Minneola, Kansas; daughters, Janice Baldwin of Cleveland, Tennessee and Delores Sager of LaCrosse, Kansas; sister, Nadyne Kinser of Paonia, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, 10 a.m. CDT at Wesleyan Community Church in Bird City, Kansas, Burial will be at Bird City Cemetery with Military graveside honors by the Naval Honor Guard.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 1-8 p.m. CDT at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas.
A memorial has been designated for hospice.
