Kayla and Nathan Sanderson

CURTIS, Nebraska -- Kayla Prochaska of Wellfleet, Nebraska and Nathan Sanderson of Hecla, South Dakota, were united in marriage July 30, 2011, at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Derrick Brown officiating.

Parents of the bride are Paul and Kathy Prochaska of Wellfleet. Parents of the bridegroom are Lynn and Joan Brockel of Glenham, South Dakota and David and Georgia Sanderson of Huron, South Dakota.

Grandparent of the bride is Colleen Ehlers of Moorefield, Nebraska. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ellery Brockel of Glenham, South Dakota and Lorraine Wright of Mobridge, South Dakota.

The matron of honor was Alaina Winterberg of Pierpont, South Dakota. Bridesmaids were Krissy Prochaska, sister-in-law of the bride, of Loveland, Colorado, Emmy Dinger of Hecla and Kayla Bloom of Glenham.

The best man was Nathan Sandmeier of Glenham. The bridegroomsmen were Brian Prochaska, brother of the bride, of Loveland, Kayle Dinger of Hecla and Adrian Winterberg, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, of Pierpont.

Lisa Ehlers, aunt of the bride, of Moorefield, attended the guestbook.

The organist was Kelley Sexson of Farnam, Nebraska.

Cake servers were Della Ehlers of Smithfield, Nebraska, and Turena Ehlers of Moorefield, both aunts of the bride.

For their honeymoon, the couple visited Yellowstone National Park and the Big Horn Mountains on motorcycle and then finished up in Sturgis.

The bride graduated from Mid-Plains Community College in McCook with an Associates Degree in business administration. She works at First State Bank in Oakes, North Dakota.

The bridegroom works as a diesel mechanic at Zastrows in Hecla.

The couple is residing in Hecla.
