Anthony P. 'Tony' Meguire

LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Anthony Paul (Tony) Meguire died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at the St. Elizabeth's Hospital Burn Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 37.

He was born August 26, 1974, at Watertown, South Dakota, the son of David and Shawna (Janousek) Meguire. Tony grew up in Hitchcock County, Nebraska until the age of 12 when the family moved to Evergreen, Colorado where he graduated from Evergreen Senior High School in 1993.

At age 15 Tony worked with his father in building and construction of houses. In 1996 he married Tiffany Moses in Evergreen. Tony returned to Trenton in 2009 where he remained until his death.

He enjoyed his construction work and carpentry as well as working on automobiles and hunting.

Tony is survived by two sons; Nicholas Meguire and Tyler Meguire, of Highland Ranch, Colorado, his parents, David and Shawna Meguire of Tucumcari, New Mexico, one brother, Casey Meguire and wife Jessica of McCook, Nebraska, three sisters, Nicky Sramek and husband Junior III of Palisade, Nebraska, Kala Meguire of Trenton, Nebraska and Amber Meguire of Tucumcari, New Mexico, grandmother Ellen Janousek of Trenton, Nebraska and Alan and Neioma Meguire of Farmersville, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 22, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday September 23, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Val Bartek off'tciating.

Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery at Trenton.

Memorials may be given in his name and friends may sign his register at Herrmann Funeral Home in Trenton.
