MAXWELL, Nebraska -- Lindsay M. Morris, 14, died Monday (Aug. 8, 2011) at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born Nov. 17, 1996, in McCook, Nebraska to Leon and Belinda Bade Morris.

Lindsay attended school in Stratton, Nebraska before her family moved to Maxwell in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard and Ardith Morris; uncles, Frank Bade and Steve Sykes.

Survivors include her parents, Leon and Belinda Morris of Maxwell; sisters, Candi Jo, Lacy and Buckley of Colorado; brothers, T.R., Kyle and Sean Thomas of Maxwell; maternal grandparents, Don and Lorraine Bade of North Platte, Nebraska; many various other family members and friends.

Funeral services are Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Maxwell High School in the gymnasium with the Rev. Don Bade Jr. officiating. The casket will be closed for the service. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation is Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home.
