Joe Raymond Leroy Titman

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Joe Raymond Leroy Titman was born on Sept. 2, 1942 to Glen and Rita (Kohmetscher) Titman. On Aug. 9, 2011, he departed this life at home surrounded by family at the age of 68.

Joe attended school at Indianola High School and graduated in 1960. He married Judy Berger on Sept. 7, 1971, in North Platte Nebraska, to this union a daughter was born, Chantelle.

Joe worked as a mechanic since 1964 for Automotive Sales and Service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Glen and Rita (Kohmetscher) Titman; and his brother-in-law, Gerald Koch.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Titman; daughter, Chantelle (Cory) Johnson; grandsons, Dylan and Riley of Valley Center, Kansas; brothers, Thomas Titman of McCook, Nebraska, and Jay (Theresa) Titman of Damascus, Virginia; sisters, Cecilia Koch of McCook, Barbara Lepper of Indianola, Nebraska, and Charlene Titman of Cambridge, Nebraska; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Memorial services are Saturday, 11 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Heimer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Community Home Health/Hospice.
