McCOOK, Nebraska -- Pamela Jane Mace, 41, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.

Pam was born on Aug. 18, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, to Bruce and Karen Mace.

She enjoyed writing poetry, music, biking, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Pam had a fondness for children and animals. Her kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Mace.

She is survived by her father, Bruce Mace and wife, Sandra of Lincoln City, Oregon; sisters, Christine Mace and Jennifer Mace, both of Reno Nevada; brother, Tim Mace and wife, Garri of Tucson, Arizona; niece, Skylar Mace of Tucson; nephew, Timothy Mace of Reno; special friend, Robert Stuck of McCook, Nebraska; and numerous friends.

A memorial service and balloon release at Barnett Park in McCook will be announced at a later date followed by a private family inurnment.
