BIRD CITY, Kansas -- Keith L. Dorsch, 87, died Tuesday (July 26, 2011) at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

He was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Cheyenne County, Kansas.

He worked as a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his son, Edward Dorsch, and gradndaughter, Alicia Dorsch.

Survivors include his wife, Hulda (Fabricius) Dorsch of Bird City; sons, Tom Dorsch of Whitewater, Kansas, Jim Dorsch of Louisburg, Kansas, and Bob Dorsch of Mesa, Arizona; brothers, Stan Dorsch of Bird City; sister Joann Busse of Goodland, Kansas; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, 10 a.m. CDT, at American Legion Hall Post No. 352 in Bird City. Burial is in the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, 1-7 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to Federated Church in McDonald, Kansas, Cheylin Schools in Bird City or Cheyenne County EMTs.
