McCOOK, Nebraska -- Alice Marie Siebrandt, 82, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
Alice was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Pender, Nebraska, to Jerome and Cecelia Leona (Beargeon) Novak. She graduated from Pender High School in 1945.
On Feb. 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Richard William Siebrandt. Alice was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to six children.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the beauty of nature, the simple things in life and really loved her chocolate.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jerome and Cecelia Novak; husband, Richard Siebrandt on Jan. 26, 2004; granddaughter, Marcy Siebrandt; brothers, Raymond, Sheldon and Walter Novak; and sister, Laura Murphy.
Survivors include her six children, Larry Siebrandt and wife, Karen of McCook, Linda and husband, Michael Ide of Manhattan, Kansas, Gary Siebrandt and wife, Cindy of McCook, Marlin Siebrandt of McCook, Mark Siebrandt of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Roger Siebrandt and wife, Marti of McCook; brother, Norman Novak of Pender; sisters, Leona Harmon of Des Moines, Iowa, and Yvonne Swan of Fremont, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her name to McCook Home Health and Hospice.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 29, 2011, 1 p.m. until the time of the rosary, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial is at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook on Thursday, June 30, 2011, 10 a.m. with Father Gary Brethour officiating.
