Riepl, Clausen exchange vows

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Kari Lynn Riepl of Atwood, Kansas, and Adam Duane Clausen of Alliance, Nebraska, were united in marriage on May 28, 2011, at Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Lance Clay officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Kathy Riepl of Atwood and Duane and Debbie Clausen of Alliance.

Grandparents of the bride are Harry and Mary Depe of Trenton, Nebraska, and Eunice Braxmeyer of Atwood.

The maid of honor was sister of the bride, Stephanie Riepl of McCook. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Eiler and Jessica Johnson, both of McCook, Julie Fritsche of Anderson, Indiana, and sister of the bridegroom, Eden Clausen of Curtis, Nebraska. The bride's personal attendant was Mysti Mues of Holdrege, Nebraska.

The best man was Randy Brehm of Unadilla, Nebraska. The bridegroomsmen were Barrett Eiler and Adam Johnson, both of McCook, Stetson Shreve of Big Springs, Nebraska, and Becky Larson of McCook.

The flower girl was cousin of the bride, Audrey Moore of Levant, Kansas. The ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Colton Riepl of McCook.

The ushers were cousins of the bride, Zachary Loker of Benkelman, Nebraska, and Tyler Britt of Atwood, Heath Hamilton of Trenton and Travis Lund of Canistota, South Dakota.

The candlelighters were cousin of the bride, Jacob Morris of Centennial, Colorado, and cousin of the bridegroom, Dayde Belknap of Hemingford, Nebraska.

The guest book attendants were cousin of the bridegroom, Lynette Belknap of Hemingford, cousin of the bride, Sarah Karlin of Topeka, Kansas, and Stephanie Cahoj Dozler of Grand Island, Nebraska. Program attendant was cousin of the bride, Ethan Moore of Levant, Kansas. Music was provided by vocalist, Kerri Unger of McCook, and organist, Phillip Clay of McCook.

A reception took place at the Community Building at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook. The host couple was Jim and Denise Broomfield of Indianola, Nebraska. The cake decorator/server was aunt of the bride, Lori Moore of Levant; other cake servers were aunt of the bride, Lori Morris of Centennial, Colorado, and aunt of the bridegroom, Loretta Belknap of Hemingford.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Atwood High School and a graduate of Bellevue University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as a business banking specialist with McCook National Bank. The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Alliance High School. He is employed as an engineer for BNSF Railway.

The couple resides in McCook.
