OBERLIN, Kansas -- Sandra L. Young, 68, died Wednesday (June 15, 2011) at her residence in Oberlin.

She was born April 16, 1943, in Oberlin, to John and Elsie (Pavlicek) Young. She was raised in Oberlin and received her education in Oberlin.

She retired as a cashier at Jamboree Foods in Norton, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Young; mohter, Elsie Goodnight; son, Robert Vaughn; daughter, Sheila Vaughn; and brother Dennis Young.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Vaughn of California, John Dean of Oberlin, and Jeff Wagoner and wife, Aliyya Eaton of Oberlin; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, 10 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with Mr. Jim Plotts offciating. Burial is in Oberlin Cemetery.

There is no visitation.
